I was going to do a year of seniors post like I did with my weddings, but there were so many great sessions, I had to blog each one! So be warned, I will be posting a new blog, hopefully, every other day. There will be some seniors, and weddings mixed in there.
To kick things off, here is A! We had a blast at the falls last summer. The thing I love the best about this location is the different areas that we can hit. I had never heard of this place until this senior season, and I went back quite a few times. Each session was different. Love it!
I will get my seniors in the water any chance I get. Even with the threat of critters 😉
A was a good sport, there may have been minnows…
If I can find a way to shoot through some greenery, I will!
Shooting these images was amazing. The greenery behind her, and the light was just perfect.
Kick the water, yes I said kick the water 🙂
One of the many waterfalls at this location.
So if you have never been to southern Minnesota, you may not know that it is FLAT. We are in the plains and it is big farming country. The shocking thing about this location, is you pull up and see these massive cliffs that drop down into a water hole. The creek flows through the rocks and down into a few falls. It’s a hidden gem.
Sit on a cliff? Ok!
But oh how I love those open fields!
The color of this rocks was magnificent and A’s outfit matched perfectly.
I was told that A liked natural smiles. I had to get a laugh out of her! And look at that glow behind her! Swoon!
We then met up in Redwood at the falls there for her fall session. This day was iffy with rain. We almost rescheduled, but I am so glad we didn’t!
Give me a rock wall, and you will sit next to it.
There was something about this circle drive that just called to me. These images were some of my favorites.
The creek that runs through this park is stunning, so many places to go.
This is why I think my sessions are like adventures. I love to get photos on big rocks in the water. I get in the water too, I am not afraid!
Oh these falls. It took some work to get down there, but it was so worth it.
I also like unique textures. The bars on this bridge are amazing.
Thank you A! I had a blast with you last year! Have fun in the last few months of high school!!
