When I attended the Mankato Bridal Show in January, I gave away an engagement session and boudoir session. B was the lucky winner of the engagement session!
They are having a destination wedding in the fall, but wanted to capture some pure Minnesota images. We met up at Minneopa State Park.
I had never been to this park, but heard good things. There were waterfalls, and trails, right up my alley!
But…it was February. The scene looked completely different then in the summer, it was amazing!
The light was perfection this day!
Though, to get down to the frozen river bed we had to go down some stairs. They were covered in ICE! It got a little dicey there for a bit.
But oh so worth it!
Stunning.
We could hear the water still flowing behind the ice.
So cool!
The rocks were a perfect backdrop.
Ah! The light!!!!
See the ice covered stairs? But we made it work!
N & B have been together since right after high school. They work together on their metal works business, The Foundry LLC.
This set is my favorite!
They were so much fun! And brave in the cold!
Thank you N&B for spending some time with me! I hope we get to work together again soon!
I always encourage an engagement session when booking a wedding with me. This is the time we get to know each other and we have a lot of laughs before the big day. You won’t regret it!
Now booking 2019! I book a limited number of weddings each year, we would be honored to capture yours!
