I am so excited to finally blog this wedding. M contacted me about their wedding a year ago. She was concerned about the height difference between her and T, I told her it would be a fun challenge and not to worry. You can see in their engagement photos here, that we used a lot of lifts 🙂
When they told me about their venue, I swooned. Literally. I LOVE barn weddings and this sounded amazing. It did not disappoint. The Heritage Family Event Center is stunning. There is a building for each stage of the day so no waiting to move tables to dance! Awesome!
This year I had a lot of threat of rain. The most in my career, and this was one of them. I wore a 3/4 length sleeve dress in August. I was cold. But I am happy with overcast, no fear of shadows. We made it work.
T&M are so photogenic and so was their wedding party. It was a day full of laughs, jokes, and s’mores. My kind of day.
I love their details next to each other, so masculine, so dainty.
I couldn’t decide where to hang her dress! So many options!

I usually don’t get to spend too much time with my grooms. My second shooters are with them while I am with the bride. But I got a chance to photograph T, he was an easy model.
So. Much. Love.
There were flowers everywhere. They work really hard at this venue for it to look it’s best.

The ceremony took place in the hay loft of the barn, above where supper was served immediately following.

What height difference? All I see is love.

The party moved to the barn for supper and cake.
Then guests (and bridal party) enjoyed hay rides around the venue.
