~B~ Wedding Jan. 16, 2016 {Southern Minnesota Wedding Photographer}

I got to kick my year off with a wedding. Now, I don’t do winter weddings often because it is COLD in Minnesota in the winter. We had  been having some pretty mild temperatures before this wedding so I was feeling pretty good about the day. 

WRONG. It ended up being the coldest weekend of the year so far. Temperatures were below zero so our outside shots were very minimal. However, they did brave the cold for a few shots. 

Overall it was a great day and I was happy to kick off my year with this couple and their friends and family!

I loved how bright the colors were. 

It always takes a team!

They were so cold, but you wouldn’t know it. 

If that isn’t a happy bride…

The guests threw fake snow as they exited the church. However, this substance was very itchy as it entered the couple’s clothes, not so fun!

I love it when the bridal party makes a pit stop after the ceremony before the reception. I like to join them as the photos can be pretty epic!

There as an obvious peacock theme, and the cake was perfection (and delicious!).

I loved this “guestbook” idea that the couple did. 

So. Cold.

Father and daughter dances get me every time. Especially when tears start to flow. 

We HAD to brave the cold to capture the sun dogs. I mean, why wouldn’t we??

I am so pleased that I get to work with this couple and their daughter as she grows. They are so happy and in love. Thank you A & B for letting me capture your day!! It was cold, but oh so worth it!!
