Direction..
I have been thinking a lot about the direction of Kyleen Olson Photography lately. I absolutely LOVE weddings and capturing families and seniors. However, my heart has been pulling me in a different direction.
Last summer I took photos at our County Fair horse show. It was so much fun to watch the kids show off their hard work. I ended up with a lot of photos that I loved and I hope they did as well. I enjoyed the day, and felt inspired.
Where it all began
That week I watched the photographers that were hired for the rest of the fair and loved how well they worked together. They are amazing at what they do, and if you get a chance you should definitely check them out, Sunrise Livestock Services.
I realized I wanted to do that. I wanted to capture these amazing moments and results of hours in the barn.
For the love
After fair was over, I wanted to make sure to get some photos of my daughter with her first steer, OZ.
He was everything you want in a first steer. He was chill, loved his girl and helped her gain confidence in the show ring. They were best friends.
I was hooked. I knew this is the direction I needed to take.
Agriculture/Livestock Photography
I live in this industry as a ranch wife. I have lived this life for 20 years. I wouldn’t change it for anything.
I will still be taking on portrait clients. I can’t give them up. Capturing memories are my favorite. I will just be available for more.
