I don’t know how this happened, but I never blogged Hannah’s sessions! These were a couple of my favorites last year. We had so much fun.
Hannah’s family spends two weeks every year out in the Black Hills on her family’s land. Her aunt and uncle have horses and she grew up riding each summer. We had to incorporate her love in her senior portraits so I made the drive out there to spend the day venturing around South Dakota.
As I said in my post on Tuesday, make your session YOURS and incorporate your loves. Hannah wanted to do that, and I was more than happy to travel to make this happen for her.
Then we went on a bridge “hunt”, it was fun driving around with her mom and grandma. I had lived in the Black Hills many years ago and it was nice to be in the area again.
Watch for fire ants! 🙂

Then in the fall we met out at her grandma’s lake house. I had taken her cousin’s photos out here a couple of years ago.
Hannah is a daddy’s girl and loves to hunt. We had to get old dog and camo photos.

The old truck is important to all the kids in this family and Hannah is no exception. There may have been a fear of critters living inside!
We headed to the beach after for a few photos as well.

It was windy, but we made it work for us!
