With Christmas next week (say what?!), I want to give a little something this week with my blog post. My top five pieces of advice for brides.
Wedding planning can be super stressful. There are so many things to think about, however, it also a lot of fun.
5. Take time to sit and envision your day. Do you want it to be light and fun? Elegant and sophisticated? Make sure you have a clear idea of what you want your day to be like. Use Pinterest, it has wonderful ideas for color palettes, themes, etc. Find some ideas and make them your own.
4.Choose your tribe. The people you ask to stand up with you are those that love you the most. They will be there for planning, DIY projects, and late night panic calls. Oh and the super fun bachelorette party!
3. Make sure to have date nights here and there with your future spouse. It is important to spend time together during the craziness of planning. Enjoy each other’s company and remember why you are doing all of this in the first place.
2. Enjoy. Every. Single. Moment.
Yes, planning is stressful, but you don’t get to do this every day. You are planning one of the biggest days of your life. Time goes by so quickly and before you know it, your wedding day is over.
1. The most important piece of advice I can give:
No matter how the day goes, at the end of it, you are married.
That’s what this whole day is about. A marriage. The day of, don’t stress, just let the day happen and be happy that you are marrying the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with.
There is it. These little tid bits helped me plan my day and the made all the difference.
