Guys. This wedding. I love everything about it.
I spoke to J about their day and what they were looking for and I knew we were a good fit. Then we met in person, and that confirmed it. A & J were so organized, they even had the location at the venue where they wanted certain photos taken. Perfect! We prayed for no rain.
Well, our prayers were not answered. But that was totally ok! The ceremony moved inside the barn, but that didn’t stop us from taking photos outside!
This venue is a dream. I highly recommend Golden Oak Farm
There was a beautiful home for the bridal party to stay in and where the groomsmen were able to get ready. Across the garden was a little bridal cabin where the bride and her girls put their finishing touches on. Then upstairs of the barn was the ceremony location with the reception below. Then acres upon acres of gorgeous photo opportunities. And llamas. Yes, llamas.
The venue itself was beautiful, but A&J definitely put their own spin on it.
I love it when the girls can have their own space.
The groom’s details are important too.
It’s all about the details..
We went to the original ceremony location for the first look. The colors though…
The best part of the threat of rain, cloud cover. Don’t get me wrong, flare is my favorite. BUT overcast gives us so many options!
The film scans are to die for…
The glitter! I loved the bridesmaid’s dresses!
I love capturing these moments of the bride with her girls.
Sometimes 5-hour energy is needed!
This ceremony location was gorgeous! And packed full.
The couple put together their own center pieces for the reception. It was located in the barn next to the ceremony location.
Even a Harry Potter table…LOVE!
While waiting for the reception to get under way, the couple hung out in the bridal suite.
They lift weights together and had to incorporate their shoes. Then she is a cowgirl and he is all business. Love how this shows their different lifestyles.
We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use this swing!
We snuck away for a few photos before the reception…
It was a party!
One last shot just as the rain began to fall. That’s right, it waited until everything was over to unleash. It is all about timing.
Thank you A & J for allowing me to capture your day! It was an absolute BLAST! Can’t wait to work with you again!
I have very few spots open for 2018 (5 to be exact) and encourage 2019 brides to get in the books now before that fills up too! Contact me soon to talk about your best day ever!!
