Round Lake Vineyard Styled Shoot {Southern Minnesota Wedding Photographer}

I’ll admit, my first styled shoot was not perfect. But I made some amazing connections and learned from my mistakes. 

This one was PERFECT. In every way. We had the perfect weather. The venue was TO DIE FOR. And everything fell into place. 

I started out with another vintage theme in mind. We were going to be by a lake so I thought about the movie The Notebook. But then it took a turn. It turned into this wonderful collaboration of small businesses. Each one of these vendors is a small business in southern Minnesota. I love that. I want to support entrepreneurs and those that do amazing work but aren’t always seen. We love our work and want the public to know about it. 

So thank you to all of you for going on this journey with me. I look forward to working with you in the future and I will be praising your names to anyone and everyone.

The minute Barbara pulled this dress out, I knew. This was the one that would be the center of the shoot. Simple, elegant and refined. 

Angela made two bouquets for us. I LOVED them! She is amazing at what she does. Amazing. 

Film, heavenly…

Smiling Tree toys have so many options for wedding gifts. I love getting these for my wedding clients! 

Ok, I may have taken a cheesecake home. Megan is a genius with her creations. And they are delicious to boot! 

We had a second dress to go with our second bouquet. This one was my favorite of the flowers, everything about it just screamed beauty. 

Jessica did magic with Libby’s hair, she is so much fun to work with and did exactly what I had in mind. 

Again with some film, these scans…I can’t stop looking at them. 

Seriously, does it get any better than this?!

Round Lake Vineyard is an excellent venue. They have a banquet room that has huge garage doors to let the outside in, or closed to keep it warmer in cooler months. They have trees, water, you name it, it’s there. 

These two…love.

I just love the film look. 

Horses even! I have to laugh because Seth was sure he was going to get bitten! But he didn’t, first time for everything? 

This gorgeous water feature is outside the tasting room of the vineyard and I had to get shots of it. Stunning. 

Those trees, everywhere I looked there was another great place to shoot. 

We made our way out to the vines, and though they weren’t full and lush, it still made for some awesome shots. 

I can’t say enough about this awesome shoot. I was so excited before it started and have been excited since it ended. I am so happy to share these photos finally. What an amazing day. Thank you again to everyone involved!! I can’t wait to shoot at Round Lake again!
