This summer has been so perfect with our green grass lasting so long. It took some time for summer to even arrive in our valley, then we were all waiting for things to dry up and get crispy.
However, we have been so blessed. It is mid-July and we STILL have green grass! Amazing!
When Riley’s mom scheduled her session, I encouraged them to wait a couple more weeks in the hopes that our leaves would pop first (we didn’t have leaves on the trees until mid-June). I am so glad we did! We had the most amazing (though mosquito filled) evening with the longest grass and perfect level on the river.
You can’t tell, she hides it well, but Riley was being swarmed by mosquitos in this little tree cluster.
I love aspen trees and will shoot in them any chance I can get! The color of her shirt was absolutely perfect!!
I love water, and love it when my clients are willing to venture into the river for photos. They had a perfect little spot behind their house.
When Riley’s mom told me she was a point dancer, I was so excited! I love when seniors can let their talent or passion shine through in their photos. I had so many ideas for this!
Silhouette?! Yes please!!! The clouds helped add to my vision.
You can ask Riley, these photos were not easy! Trying to balance up on your toes on gravel is extremely difficult. She handled it like a trooper and the sunset was perfection!
