The thing I learned about Montana during my time there, was that you can never depend on the weather. The day for Lily’s photos started out great. Little overcast, but overall warm.
Anytime someone is game for river photos…we are trekking down there!
Then the wind picked up and I saw a huge black cloud heading toward us. However, Lily held strong. She’s a Montana girl.
We sat in her suburban for a good 30 minutes and waited out the storm. We went back and forth on if we wanted to reschedule, but decided just to hang in there.
Man, I’m glad we did!!
A rainbow?! Yes please! This was the first of TWO rainbow sessions I had this summer.
Lily loves her country, so we incorporated my Americana bandana. It is a personal thing, I don’t like to use real flags for sessions. However, I am a true blue American and love these photos!
YESSSS!!! Even if your opinion isn’t the popular one, it’s OK! This girl is for Trump and I was totally game for flying that flag!!
We ended the evening with perfect, I mean, PERFECT, light.
I hate calling sessions. I hate reschedules. I was so glad that Lily stuck it out and waited out the storm with me. The photos couldn’t have been more beautiful.
