Sabrina~ Class of 2020 Senior {Montana Senior Photographer}

Wow. Major blog fail last month. I had every intention of blogging while I was gone, but let’s be honest. I enjoyed my downtime.

I thought the first blog post being back should be about this beauty. I went to high school with Sabrina’s mom and she immediately reached out when she heard I was headed home.

The funny thing about this, is Kate (Sabrina’s mom) took photos of ME in high school. She was my shutter bug friend before I was even a shutter bug! It was such an honor to be asked to take her daughter’s photos.

They drove across the bridge to meet me in Paradise (yes, that is the name of the town) and take her portraits at the Shipwreck Museum.

See, spring and summer were late this year in the U.P. (ok, everywhere) but we still had some blooming leaves and gorgeous sunshine.

I loved making Sabrina laugh and see that she was enjoying herself.

We did have green grass.

And mosquitoes. Lots of mosquitoes.

This photo was “hurry stand here, ok, I got the shot, let’s run!” Yes, the bugs were THAT bad.

I had no idea that Sabrina didn’t like getting her photo taken and that the idea of the session had stressed her out beforehand. She was such a natural, and ended up loving the whole experience!

Now, this is Lake Superior. It hardly is ever warm enough to dip your toes in. It was FREEZING while we were shooting.

But you can’t tell. Sabrina was a pro.

Though, these last few shots. She may have yelled at me to get out!
