When Alex’s mom contacted me about shooting his senior portraits at the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum I was so excited. This museum holds a special place in my heart. See, I took my dad there two years ago because he was such a huge WWII nerd. He loved it. I couldn’t wait to shoot a session there.
Alex and I headed to the big hangar to shoot with the Scat III, a Lockheed P38-L. He said it was his favorite of all the aircraft in the museum. My heart leapt. This one was my dad’s favorite too.
He had some serious looks for me.
The cool thing about the displays in the museum, is that they all still fly. Fagen holds an air show every summer and they get out and “spread their wings” so to speak.
I had to accentuate his jacket. Alex is taking flying lessons in hopes of being a pilot.
We then went over to a local park and took some photos with his hunting dog.
I don’t think she liked me much.
It was a great day! Thank you Alex, for letting me capture your senior year. You have a bright future ahead of you!
