I am finally blogging my last 2017 wedding, five weeks before my first of 2018 🙂 Truth is, I was procrastinating on this post. I wasn’t ready to end 2017 yet. It was such an amazing year, with amazing people. It will be hard to beat.
I met S at the Marshall bridal show in January of last year. After each show I do, I reach out to the couples I have met. I like to offer a little something to them if they book with me, and I also have a giveaway. See, S won my free engagement session. And I am so glad she did.
We spoke on the phone the next night after the show, and had a great talk. She told me of her plans, and how excited she was. After much talking throughout the week, she decided to book with us for her wedding too. I couldn’t have been more pleased. She mentioned that E, her fiance, hadn’t had photos done before. We were in for a treat at the engagement session.
Let me tell you, E has a wonderful sense of humor! See their engagement photos and hear the story here.
I knew we were going to have fun on their wedding day. It was a very chilly November morning, but everyone was in good spirits.
My wonderful second shooter that day was Chelbi West of CL Photography by Chelbi Lyn.
The best part, was she knew the bride! I love small towns!
I didn’t dare take the dress outside (I really wanted to), so we settled in the church. Still beautiful.
I love fall details.
This was possibly the best dad first look EVER. He broke down all day, it was so beautiful.
We figured E would try to peek at S when we did the first look, so we blindfolded him 😉
It’s always the tough guys that break down!
I love it.
Big white wall? Yes please!
The breeze picked up, but the colors were perfection.
A little double exposure 🙂
We took a wild ride on some golf carts to this neat little spot for bridal party photos.
Totally worth it!
It was a beautiful ceremony.
In true Minnesotan fashion, we hit up the bar before the reception!
The little details S put into her day, were gorgeous.
The cake was delicious!
I love a good toast, and they had some doosies!
The father of the bride brought the house down!
A little bit of a gag gift for the couple. See, she loves the Vikings, he loves the Cowboys!
So much fun with a photo booth!
Thank YOU S&E for allowing us to capture your day. It was a perfect way to end 2017 wedding season for us. Here is to many years of wedded bliss, and I hope to work with you again soon!!
ONE spot left for 2018! My team and I would LOVE to capture your day!! Now booking 2019!
