Have you ever spoken to someone on the phone and immediately know you have a connection? R contacted me about her wedding in September I immediately felt like she was one of my people. We were laughing within the first five minutes.
She had so many stories about her and P and then mentioned her beautiful daughters. Of course I wanted to incorporate them into their engagement session since they were becoming a family.
When we got together one evening, we had rain swells coming through all day on and off. When we started it was clear and beautiful.
Right off the bat we were laughing and giggling and I love capturing those moments.
The girls were such good sports and smiled beautifully. They knew exactly how to pose for me.
I told P and R to have a seat and these moments just happened. Their connection is undeniable.
This was R’s idea and I LOVED it!!

Right before the rain came at us, I snapped this shot. Then they hung out in the barn while we waited out the rain…
It was totally worth it! We moved to this location next with these beautiful trees and the light was epic!

I love that R describes me as her “kind of crazy.” It is so important to have a connection with your photographer and this connection is awesome. I am so looking forward to their fall wedding!!
