This year is bringing a lot of change. New logo, new website AND a second shooter at weddings!
I have been thinking for a long time about adding someone to my team. The more weddings I do, the more I realize I can’t be in two places at once and I don’t want the couple to miss a second. So, I decided to hire someone to be that second pair of eyes and we can cover as many angles as humanly possible.
Now, I am a particular person. I love what I do and want to give my clients the best photos as well as the best experience when they hire me as their wedding photographer. I had to think long and hard about who I wanted to trust with those extra photos. Who I thought would be able to capture the images the way I think they should be captured.
The first name that popped in my head was Jenny. She has begun to dive into her photography passion more in the last year and I always loved seeing how she is growing with her talent. I knew she would be perfect as I see a lot of myself in her.
Here is a little about Jenny in her own words:
- Where are you from? How did you end up in Tracy?
I grew up in the New London Spicer area. Moved around to a few places and then lived near the cities for about 5 years before I moved to Tracy. This pretty neat guy tricked me into falling in love with him and then convinced me to move to Tracy. ☺️
- Tell me about your family
I am very happily married to Cole Cooreman. We will be going on two years of marriage this June. We have three handsome boys: Kaysen 9, Drake 2, and Landen 8 weeks.
- How long have you been taking photos?
I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. As a kid I loved art and photography. I started out just doing it as a hobby; photographing family and friends. The past couple years I have been working on bringing my photography to another level and making it more of a business rather than just a hobby.
- What is your favorite thing about photography?
My favorite thing is being able to capture precious moments for people. Moments that they will be able to look at the photos and it will take them back to that very second. I also love creating and enhancing images to make them even more interesting and beautiful.
- What are you looking forward to most about working for Kyleen Olson Photography?
I look forward to sharing and gaining knowledge with and from Kyleen. I know I will learn so much from her not only about photography but also with the business side. It will be an exciting and fun experience. I also look forward to sharing in clients special day and making it last forever. Knowing that I can help create our client’s vision and dream of how they want their day to be captured makes me very happy.
I am think we will make an amazing team and I can’t wait to capture memories with her! We will get our first chance at our styled shoot in a few weeks~ stay tuned for that post!!
